About the role
The Director of Nursing / Campus Manager is responsible for the management of acute/subacute care and residential aged care provided at the GV Health Waranga (Rushworth Campus). They are also responsible for the management of staff employed in the roles related to Administration Hotel services, District Nursing, Community Health and Lifestyle.
GV Health Waranga Campus is located in Rushworth and incorporates Waranga Health and Waranga Aged Care. Waranga Health comprises four (4) beds that are used to accommodate acute and subacute/ restorative care admissions. There is also a dedicated palliative care suite. Waranga Aged Care is a 36-bed residential facility (inclusive of permanent and respite places).
The Director of Nursing / Campus Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across the portfolio to achieve strategic goals and pillars, and foster a culture that reflects the shared GV Health CREATE values.
The Director of Nursing / manager supports the implementation of the Clinical Governance Framework with focus on the domains of leadership and culture, consumer partnership, workforce, risk management, and clinical practice in order to deliver safe and high-quality patient/ resident - centred care in accordance with relevant legislation and standards.

The health service includes a four-bed acute care unit, a district nursing service, outpatient ambulatory consulting services and a dedicated palliative care suite and respite bed.
