About the role: 

The Health Care Worker reports to the Nurse Unit Manager – Waranga Campus and works as an assistant to the health care team. Under the direction delegation and supervision of the Aged Care Clinical Coordinator or their delegate, the Health Care Worker works in accordance with the assessed nursing needs of residents as determined by the professional and clinical judgement of the supervising senior nursing staff.

This position amongst others is responsible for promoting GV Health as a quality regional health service provider ensuring GV health missions and values are upheld.

Successful candidate will have:

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Willingness to contribute to quality patient care
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with other staff, patients and families
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Commitment to a professional work ethicBasic computer skills
• Certificate III in Aged Care

Position Description: Grade 1 or Grade 2
