About GV Health – Waranga Campus:
Located in Rushworth, Waranga Health is a 36-bed aged-care facility. The health service includes a four-bed acute care unit, a district nursing service, outpatient ambulatory consulting services and a dedicated palliative care suite and respite bed. Care and treatment are provided 24 hours a day by a talented multidisciplinary team working across a range of medical, nursing and allied health services.

About the role:
The Waranga District Nurse provides home based nursing care for clients who reside in townships of Rushworth, Murchison, Stanhope, Corop, Colbinabbin, Toolleen and surrounding areas.
The District Nurse will work in a team environment to deliver professional and holistic nursing care within the home setting to people of any age, income or ethnicity. The District Nurse will deliver client centred care and education to improve health status by promoting self-management strategies, as well as supporting the carer in their role.
