Are you a psychologist or social worker with who has a passion for working with children and families?
Would you like the opportunity to work with a team of committed, enthusiastic and highly experienced paediatric health professionals within specialist paediatric rehabilitation services?
An opportunity exists for an experienced Psychologist or Social Worker in the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service, Goulburn Valley (VPRS-GV). VPRS-GV is a specialist assessment and treatment service for children and adolescents who, as a result of injury, medical/surgical intervention or functional impairment, will benefit from a program of developmentally appropriate, time-limited, goal-focused, multidisciplinary rehabilitation.
The psychologist/social worker will work as part of the multidisciplinary VPRS providing high quality services to clients of VPRS-GV. Applicants should have relevant paediatric experience, a strong understanding of practice in sub-acute and community settings, and be able to demonstrate the ability to provide a family centred service within a rural health setting.
This is a casual role, suitable for an established clinician, grade 2-3. If you are seeking a permanent position, please contact the VPRS Regional Coordinator to discuss.
