About the role:

GV Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYMHS) is responsible for providing compassionate, recovery orientated mental health care to children and young people up to the age 25 years.  The ICYMHS Clinician will work together with the young person, their family, supporters and networks, to deliver care through deep listening, shared understanding and mutual trust.  The role will be responsible for the provision of mental health assessment, treatment planning and the provision of care aligning with the young persons and families recovery goals. 

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Psychiatric Nursing and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work enabling registration with AASW.
  • Experience in the provision of mental health care with children and/or youth.
