About the role:
The Infant Child & Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYMHS) is a specialist service providing comprehensive and compassionate mental health care and support for infants, children, families and young people up to the age of 25 years.
The ICYMHS Clinician role is responsible for the provision of advanced trauma informed mental health care practice in comprehensive developmental mental health assessment, formulation and individualized recovery planning, provision of risk assessments, safety planning and crisis management plans, and provision of evidence based therapeutic interventions to complex, high risk consumers, their families and network of service providers.
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification and AHPRA registration in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing or AASW compliant Social Work qualifications
- Experience in working with people experiencing mental illness and psychological distress, preferably children, youth and families
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support the care provided.
