About the Role:

GV Health Dental service is seeking a qualified full time Dental Assistant/Receptionist (Certificate 3 or above) to join our team in a busy 12 chair clinic. In this role you will have the opportunity work in the clinic, on reception, sterilisation, assist in dental GAs and be part of the outreach service to kindergartens, schools and aged care facilities etc.

We are looking for a confident, patient focused dental assistant with prior experience and a certificate III in Dental Assisting (or above) to join our large multidisciplinary team. In this role your will broaden your skills across the front desk and clinical areas supporting clinicians and final year dental students on rotation to Shepparton.

The successful candidate will have:

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting, Australian Dental Association in Dental Assisting certificate or equivalent is desirable. If no certificate III then role is for reception duties only.
• Demonstrated experience in office-based procedures and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to work in a team or autonomous environment
• A positive approach and adaptability to a changing environment.
• Excellent customer service skills both and reception and at clinic level.
