About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and team centred Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our team in a full-time, fixed-term role until June 30th 2026, at the Graham St campus. This role is largely responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to the surgical and acute care units, but will work as part of the wider acute physiotherapy team with additional responsibilities on the medical, respiratory, paediatric and maternity wards, the critical care unit and the emergency department as required.

Our team consists of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and allied health assistants and delivers comprehensive services to the emergency, acute, subacute and community settings. As the Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will work closely with the Grade 3 Acute Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and the Physiotherapy Manager to help oversee the delivery of Physiotherapy services across your clinical area. You will provide support to Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Undergraduate Students, and the wider multi-disciplinary team. You will provide clinical expertise to complex cases, support staff supervision, assist with relevant competency and in-service training, and contribute to departmental and organisation quality projects and/or working groups to enhance the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services to GV Health patients.

We are seeking a motivated team player who embodies the GV Health values in their daily working life, has exceptional communication skills and provides excellent patient care and advocacy.
