About the Role: Occupational Therapist - Mental Health Inpatient Unit (Wanyarra)
Wanyarra is a dedicated 20-bed Mental Health Inpatient Unit offering compassionate, comprehensive care to patients facing acute mental health challenges. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to provide individualized treatment plans, ensuring patients receive the best care possible in a supportive and recovery-focused environment. Recently upgraded with state-of-the-art facilities and a focus on therapeutic interventions, Wanyarra offers a nurturing environment where your work can make a real difference.
As an Occupational Therapist in our Mental Health Inpatient Unit, you will be integral to the team, working closely with patients to assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and independence. You will be responsible for developing tailored therapeutic activities that support mental health recovery, providing assessments, and contributing to treatment plans. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
- Proven experience in mental health or a strong interest in developing expertise in this field.

- A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of people living with mental health conditions.
