About the role:

The PFAU ANUM will assist with the coordination of flow and access initiatives, contributing to the achievement of hospital-wide goals. They will assist with trialling, testing and implementing changes, partnering with multidisciplinary colleagues and supporting staff to understand the reasoning behind change ideas and new processes. The PFAU ANUM may, at times, support other departments to implement change processes and patient flow initiatives. The ANUM will contribute to standardised patient flow activities across all seven days, and will assist hospital teams to identify suitable patients for the Transit Lounge and/or PFAU.

The PFAU flexible beds operate from 08.30-17.00 7 days per week whilst the Transit Lounge operates from 0800-1700 on weekdays. The Associate Nurse Unit Manager may also support other functional areas to achieve goals as they pertain to the PFAU.

The ANUM will work Thursday through til Monday, this position is open to being job shared on a rotation basis.
