About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated individual who will provide leadership and direction to a dynamic team of nine members, including Senior Payroll Officers, Payroll Officers, and Payroll Administration Assistants. As an essential part of our senior payroll team, the Team Leader will ensure that all decisions positively impact the team. This role involves addressing complex payroll issues, contributing to process improvements, and reporting. Additionally, the Team Leader will handle various technically challenging administrative tasks to ensure the efficient preparation and accurate production of salaries and wages for GV Health employees and our regional payroll services. We are looking for:

  • Manage Senior Payroll Officers, Payroll Officers and Administration Support Officers. This includes allocating and controlling resources to ensure Payroll activities are carried out efficiently, accurately and effectively.
  • Ensure Payroll processing for GV Health employees and associated regional payroll services are reviewed and processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Present audit requests to internal and external auditors when requested.

  • 2-3 years Demonstrated experience and strong leadership skills in supervising a small to medium sized team
