About the role

Are you looking for a change or a new opportunity to expand and develop your skills? This position could be for you.

Supported by an experienced team an exciting new opportunity is available for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the GV Health Ambulatory Aged Care Program (AACP) team. This role would be suitable for an experienced Grade 1 ready to transition to a Grade 2 role. The team is an established and progressive multi-disciplinary team which includes: Clinical team Leaders, Clinical Care Coordinators, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social work, Team Assistants and Speech Pathology services.

 

The Physiotherapist will provide person centred care with an opportunity to:

  • Travel across the Goulburn Valley region working in bed based and home-based settings
  • Work with clients, carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and mobility
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop goals and care plans to assist clients to get home and active in their local community
  • Develop exercise programs for clients. Work with team assistants to implement these programs
  • Work with a diverse range of clients and health conditions
  • Undertake teaching and training opportunities with local health services and service providers
  • Participate in student training programs

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent and eligibility for membership of professional association
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience working as a Physiotherapist within acute, subacute or community settings
