About the role:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating all aspects of quality patient care immediately after surgery. The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate time manegement skills and work as an active team member within the Recovery area to ensure the delivery of quality patient focused care. This position is responsible for promoting GV Health as a quality Regional Health Service Provider, ensuring GV Health missions and values are upheld. 

The successful applicant will have:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year Recovery/PACU experience post-graduation
• Flexibility to work all shifts across a rotating roster
• Demonstrated ability to provide safe, high-quality clinical care
• Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated committment to teamwork and the maintenance of a supportive work environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
