Role Overview:
As a Social Worker (Grade 2) in our Mental Health Inpatient Unit, you'll play a vital role in providing holistic care to our patients. You'll conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to support patients in their recovery journey. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll ensure that our patients receive personalized care tailored to their needs. The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification recognized by AASW.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in clinical assessment and therapeutic interventions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to collaborative care planning and delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and carers.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
