About the role:
The Senior Speech Pathologist will be based in Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Clinic (NPC), and reports to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Manager. The NPC is responsible for the assessment of children under 18 years of age presenting with Neurodevelopmental related problems, predominantly Autism.
The Senior Speech Pathologist is a new position, and will be responsible for assisting the NPC Coordinator to screen referrals, participate in multi-disciplinary assessments, provide high quality reports and recommendations and provide speech pathology specific assessments.
The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and current registration with AHPRA;
- Knowledge and aptitude in the field of Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and in particular Autism Spectrum Disorder;
- At least 5 years’ experience;
- High level time management and organisational skills.
