About GV Health - Tatura and Parkvilla Campus

Tatura Hospital comprises of 8 sub acute beds and specilses in palliative care services.  The communiyt has access to pathology servcie two days a week, self-management support.  We are an accreditated hospital with a five star rating National Quality Standards.  

Parkvilla is a residential aged care home for 13 residents and two transitional care beds.  The facility has the feel of a ‘home away from home', with beautiful gardens for residents and patinets to enjoy.  We currently hold a 4 star rating for residentail aged care.

About the role:

 

The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating all aspects of quality, client-focused care to patients and residents of Tatura Hospital and Parkvilla Aged Care facility. The Enrolled Nurse must be able to demonstrate effective time management skills and work as an active team member. The Enrolled Nurse must be able to identify the early signs of patient deterioration and ensure that the appropriate process is followed in escalation of care.

 

 

The position will involve collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, Associate Nurse Unit Managers, and Enrolled Nursing staff.  This role also requires liaison with medical practitioners, Allied Health, lifestyle coordinator and support service staff.
